Kentucky Colonel Organizations

Since Col. Daniel Boone founded the first democratic colonial government on the Kentucky River, the Kentucky Colonel became a larger than life character tied to the traditions and customs introduced by Boone. The traditions and customs of Kentucky colonels were very strong until corporations replaced the normal company and partnership infrastructures in the mid-1800's.

List of Organizations

Based on our research we have found over 100 organizations that were created and styled by Kentucky colonels to promote their ideals, project their image and as a reminder of their presence. All types of organizations have been developed between 1867-2022. This "List of Organizations" is based on having a presence online or a legal presence with a physical address.

Discovered in 2020 to promote a false historical narrative and distort the origin and source of the Kentucky Colonel.
